Reinventing recruitment with transformative technology
Driving business growth with digital
Quinton Davies is a technology-driven recruitment company specialising in the tech and finance sectors. Their forward-thinking approach aims to set industry standards in innovation and sustainable practices.
The team came to Digital wonderlab because they wanted to do things differently. They wanted our help to create a compelling user experience that puts people first and use technology to drive a revolution in the recruitment sector.
High level strategy development, with detailed user experience work enabled the team to build out a new digital roadmap for the organisation to drive their digital ambitions forward and build a highly engaging, operational and active website to drive business growth.
Ambition
Quinton Davies is driven by the ambition to do things in a new way and the founders were keen to disrupt their market by using technology well and ethically.
Our digital enablement challenge was to mirror this ethos, by ensuring their website and digital channels offered a memorable user experience, supported online journeys and reached the right candidates and clients in the right way.
Job adverts needed to be clearly seen, readily searchable and easily applied for through the website and candidates needed to receive tailored notifications based on their individual preferences. At all times, the people behind the roles had to be at the heart of our digital transformation journey.
With technology playing such a fundamental role in Quinton Davies’ offer and market positioning, the website needed to be search engine optimised and provide a coherent and engaging experience for candidates and clients alike.

The Solution
This project brought together Big Data, Analytics and AI (Artificial Intelligence) with UX at the core. With such a string UX focus, our discovery work focussed on truly getting to know the business from the inside out and included multiple sessions with the people who were ultimately going to use the digital service.
The development of a bespoke digital road map ensured that the website we created would effectively help Quinton Davies to recruit new staff in new and exciting ways, whilst driving brand awareness and traffic to their recruitment services.
Working collaboratively, we explored the features and user stories that were essential to the website, as well as exploring the best-suited integration options to meet their short- and long-term strategic needs. Combined with the CRM solution and other app integrations, which often perform the primary functionality of the industry, we were able to create strong foundations for future development for both the internal and external facing digital solutions.
We agreed that the website must allow clients and candidates to explore and learn who Quinton Davies are, what they stand for, and to receive essential recruitment updates in real-time. Ease of navigation was a driving factor, in recognition of how important it is to engage and deliver for time-poor users. This external facing technology was combined with the internal need for secure data storage and usage through MS Dynamics, plus API integration with recruitment power apps.

The tech behind the transformation
For the core content management we utilised Umbraco CMS which provides a feature rich and easy to manage new website.
The frontend of the website is built using a Bootstrap framework.
We integrated with MS Dynamics for the CRM to allow user data to be fully utilised by the team.
